Gram privacy policy

This is the hosted copy of the policy shown inside the app under Settings, Privacy policy. The in-app text is the source of truth; keep both in sync.

What Gram stores

Your profile (sex, date of birth, height, weight, activity level, goal, country), your food diary, saved foods and recipes, fasting sessions and your settings. Everything is stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your private iCloud database, which only you can access. Gram has no user accounts and no servers of its own.

Apple Health

With your permission Gram reads steps, active energy, exercise minutes, workouts, weight and water from Apple Health, and writes the weight, water and nutrients you log. Health data never leaves your device except through Apple’s own iCloud sync, which you control in Settings.

Open Food Facts

When you search for branded products or scan a barcode, the search text or barcode and your chosen country are sent to Open Food Facts, a non-profit open database. No identifier that could link the request to you is included.

On-device intelligence

Coaching notes and photo recognition run entirely on your iPhone using Apple’s on-device models. Photos and diary data are not uploaded anywhere.

Subscriptions

Purchases are handled by Apple. Gram receives only a confirmation of your subscription status, never your payment details.

Analytics and tracking

Gram contains no analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs. It does not collect data about you.

Your rights

You can export your diary as CSV from Settings and delete everything Gram stores with one tap under Settings, Your data. Deleting removes the data from this device, from your iCloud database and the samples Gram wrote to Apple Health. Under the GDPR you may also contact us at the address below.
